Submitting Updates for a Past Date

How to submit a retroactive standup update if you missed a working day.

If you missed a working day, you can still submit an update retroactively. Strova keeps your work record complete even if you were away or forgot to submit on the day.

How to Submit for a Past Date

  1. Go to Daily Updates in the sidebar.
  2. Use the date selector (shown near the top of the page) to navigate back to the date you missed.
  3. The session for that date will show as Pending — click Start Update to begin.
  4. Complete the AI conversation as normal and post.

How Past-Date Submissions Are Scored

Timeliness: Retroactive submissions are automatically marked as late since the cutoff time has passed. Your timeliness score for that day reflects this — it cannot be changed retroactively.

Other KPI dimensions: Task completion, planning quality, and blocker communication are scored normally based on the content you submit, regardless of when you submit it.

Weekly reports: The data from retroactive submissions is included in your weekly AI report, so your work is captured even if submitted late.

How Far Back Can I Submit?

You can submit updates for any past working day. There's no cutoff on how far back you can go.

On Leave?

If you were genuinely on leave (holiday, sick day), your team lead can mark you as on leave on the DSM Board instead. On-leave days don't affect your timeliness score and don't require a retroactive update.
