What is Strova?

An introduction to Strova — what it does, who it's for, and how it transforms your team's daily standups with AI.

Welcome to Strova — an AI-powered program manager built for engineering teams. Strova sits on top of your daily standup process and does the heavy lifting: it structures messy updates, tracks performance over time, and surfaces blockers before they become bottlenecks.

The Problem Strova Solves

Traditional standups are either too rigid (scheduled calls everyone dreads) or too loose (a Slack message that nobody reads). Either way, useful information gets lost. Managers waste time chasing updates. Blockers go unnoticed for days. Reporting is manual and always stale.

Strova fixes this with a lightweight async workflow powered by AI.

How it Works

Every working day, each team member opens Strova and has a short AI-guided conversation. The AI asks the right questions, extracts structured data — what was done, what's planned, and what's blocked — and posts it to your team's DSM Board for everyone to see.

From there, Strova automatically:

  • Scores each update across five KPI dimensions
  • Generates weekly AI reports highlighting achievements, red flags, and improvement suggestions
  • Surfaces blockers on the executive dashboard so nothing slips through
  • Tracks project hours for teams working across multiple projects (Business plan)

Key Concepts

Organization — Your company or workspace in Strova. Everything (teams, members, billing) lives inside an org.

Team — A group of members who share a DSM Board. One org can have multiple teams (Business plan).

Daily Update — The AI-guided standup conversation a member completes each working day.

DSM Board — The team-level view showing everyone's updates for a given day, their status, and any discussion threads.

KPI Score — An automatic score (0–100) Strova assigns to each update based on task completion, planning quality, blocker communication, and timeliness.
