Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan

How to change your Strova plan — what happens immediately, what's prorated, and what to watch for when downgrading.

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from Settings → Billing.

Upgrading

Startup → Business

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Upgrade to Business.
  3. Confirm the change.

The upgrade takes effect immediately. You gain access to unlimited teams, readonly members, and project hours tracking right away. A prorated charge for the difference in plan cost is applied for the remainder of your current billing period.

Monthly → Annual

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Switch to Annual Billing.
  3. Confirm.

The switch takes effect at your next billing date. You'll be charged the annual rate upfront on that date, and your monthly billing stops. You receive the 10% annual discount from that point forward.

Downgrading

Business → Startup

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan → Startup.
  3. Confirm.

The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Until then, you retain Business features.

Important: When the downgrade takes effect:

  • All teams except your first team are automatically deactivated
  • Members on those teams remain in the org but lose team membership
  • All readonly members are converted to full members (and become billable)
  • Historical data for all teams is preserved

Plan ahead before downgrading — move members to the remaining team and handle readonly conversions manually if needed.

Annual → Monthly

Contact support to switch from annual to monthly billing. Annual plans are non-refundable mid-term but you can switch to monthly at renewal.

Cancelling

To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current paid period. After that, your account moves to a readonly state — data is preserved but new updates cannot be submitted.

You can reactivate at any time by subscribing again.
